FA Cup draw: Plum tie for Blades

Sheffield United will travel to Premier League Aston Villa in the third round of the FA Cup next month.

It promises to be a special tie for Blades old boy Matthew Lowton, who moved to Villa Park last season.

United are currently four matches unbeaten in all competitions and have already knocked Colchester United and Cambridge United out of the tournament.

Managerless Sheffield Wednesday, meanwhile, face a trip to Skrill Premier side Macclesfield Town.

Doncaster Rovers will welcome Stevenage to the Keepmoat Stadium while fellow Championship strugglers Barnsley will entertain either Hartlepool United or Coventry City.
