Andy Williams, the former Yeovil Town, Bristol Rovers and Hereford United centre-forward, has scored 19 goals in 31 appearances this season and seven in his last six appearances. Williams, who spent time on the books of both Aston Villa and Birmingham City as a youngster, has failed to hit the target only twice since November 22 when he netted during a 2-1 victory over Peterborough. The 28-year-old claimed one goal when Swindon Town beat Sheffield United 5-2 in September.
Sheffield United have lost their previous two meetings with Swindon Town but did beat them 1-0 at Bramall Lane last term when Jose Baxter scored the only goal of the game - Ryan Flynn provided the assist - after 67 minutes. That result saw United climb to 19th in the League One table while the visitors dropped to eighth. They enter tomorrow’s contest placed ninth and first respectively. Mark Cooper’s side have been beaten only once, by United’s neighbours Doncaster Rovers, in 10 outings.
