SHEFFIELD UNITED: Lane duo poised to lead final tilt

TOP-two hopefuls Sheffield United expect key duo Lee Williamson and Ched Evans to be passed fit the visit of Leyton Orient this weekend.

Williamson failed to appear for the second-half of the resounding 5-2 victory at Rochdale in midweek while Evans was also taken off after complaining of cramp.

Winger Williamson grabbed his 11th goal of the campaign at Spotland while Evans took his tally to 34 in all competitions.

Ryan Flynn, who replaced Williamson at Rochdale, is in line to play should Williamson be ruled out.

Danny Wilson’s men, who have not lost since March 6, are chasing a sixth victory in a row when they entertain relegation-threatened Orient.

United will be targeting a 16th win at Bramall Lane this season. Only arch rivals Sheffield Wednesday have accrued more points than Wilson’s side on home soil.

Birmingham City, in the FA Cup, and Oldham Athletic are the only teams to have triumphed at United in 2012.

Jordan Chappell shone as the reserves saw off Port Vale yesterday to all but secure the title in the Central League Central Division. Chappell notched a first-half brace while Danny Philliskirk was also on target.
