Sheffield United boss Nigel Adkins paid tribute to the character of his team after the Blades came from behind to take a 2-2 draw against Bradford City at Valley Parade.
Goals from James Meredith and Devante Cole had the Bantams well in front, however United were given a lifeline when Meredith headed into his own goal and then Billy Sharp leveled after he latched onto a great pass from substitute Jose Baxter.
Adkins said afterwards: "The character of the players was spot on; they've kept going. The second half was our game then. We scored a couple of goals, the formation helped, a change of players.
"We had three up there to endevour to get something from the game. We got that and a point although we were looking for three."
