DANNY Wilson, the Sheffield United manager, has outlined why he could be interested in extending Rob Kozluk’s stay at Bramall Lane.
The vastly experienced full-back was expected to leave the club after his contract expired at the end of last season.
But Wilson, who is understood to be lining up a deal for Swindon Town defender Jean-Francois Lescinel, said: “I’d be interested in speaking to Kozzy and seeing what his thoughts are.
“Rob is a real character, a good character and someone who is great to have in the dressing room. Whether or not we could guarantee him a regular start in the team I don’t know.
“But those are good qualities to have.”
Kozluk, who predominately operates on the right hand side, returned to United 11 months ago following a three-year spell with neighbours Barnsley.
