Sheffield Wednesday’s remaining out of contract players have agreed inprinciple to sign new deals, sources close to the club have revealed.

The Owls, who yesterday announced Burton Albion ace Jacques Maghoma has penned a two year deal at Hillsborough, have already negotiated new deals for Lewis Buxton and David Prutton, while goalkeeper Stephan Bywater elected to move to Wednesday’s Championship rivals Millwall.

Giles Coke and Miguel Llera were expected to meet with Wednesday officials today after reporting back for pre-season training, while Jermaine Johnson is expected to do likewise on Monday.

The Owls, however, don’t expect injured duo Reda Johnson and Michail Antonio to be fit for the start of pre-season.
