SHEFFIELD Wednesday fans secured another point in a 1-1 draw against relegation threatened Bristol Rovers today - with two penalities in the opening minutes.
But with nothing at stake for the Owls, fans will have been forgiven for turning their attentions to Bramall Lane, where the Blades were relegated after a 2-2 draw against Barnsley.
This sets up another campaign of steel city derbies next season in League One.
Wednesday and United will also play newly promoted Chesterfield.
The Owls were 1-0 up after three minutes against Bristol Rovers after Tommy Miller smashed home a penalty following an unfair challenge on Gary Madine by Danny Coles.
Less than 10-minutes later Rovers were also awarded a penalty, after Lewis Buxton’s challenge on Wayne Brown and Will Hoskins found the back of the net.
