Wednesday announced today that Jermaine Johnson has signed his new contract.
It was a formality long expected after the winger revealed in May that he was ready to stay at the club.
The agreement is for a further year.
Just back from a summer of international duty with Jamaica, Johnson has missed the Owls’ trip to the FA’s national football centre at St George’s Park, Burton-on-Trent, and will resume training with them at Middlewood on Monday.
He is the last of the club’s six out-of-contract senior players to resolve his future: new deals have been signed by Miguel Llera, David Prutton, Giles Coke and Lewis Buxton, and Stephen bywater has left for Millwall.
