ONE TO WATCH

Shrewsbury re-signed Andy Mangan on an 18-month contract for an undisclosed fee at the beginning of January. Mangan left the Shrews to join Tranmere Rovers last summer. He made 22 appearances for Rovers this campaign, hitting seven goals. Since returning to Greenhous Meadow, he has claimed two goals in four starts. He is a cup specialist, having netted against Chelsea and Leicester in the Capital One Cup last term.

MAN IN THE MIDDLE

Lancashire-based whistler, Paul Tierney has issued 79 cautions and two red cards in the 26 matches he has taken charge of this season. He last officiated an Owls match back in August when Modou Sougou registered in added on time to rescue them a point at home to Reading.
