Tennis enthusiasts are being offered free coaching sessions in a Sheffield development programme, starting this weekend.
People over 14 can receive advice from qualified coaches in a series of open days at Graves Tennis and Leisure Centre.
Starting on Sunday, (1-4pm,) the sessions will include expert tuition on three indoor courts.
Katie Higson, Tennis Manager for Sheffield International Venues, said: “We are looking forward to welcoming new people to the centre as the summer tennis season begins.
“It is great that the club has received funding from Sport England to give people a chance to come and try tennis for free.
“At Graves, you don’t need to be a member to come and play tennis and these open days are a good way to experience our first class facilities and coaching.
“The Centre has six indoor acrylic tennis courts which are the same surface used at the US Open and 10 outdoor tennis courts.”
Charles Critcher, a committee member for Graves, said: “We hope to encourage more people to get involved in tennis and get active.”
