Sheffield plays host to a national championships for one of the fastest growing Paralympic sports in the country this weekend.
Over 90 players, including many of Team GB, will compete in the National Junior Boccia Championships at the English Institute of Sport.
The championships have also been heightened by the boccia course attached to the competition, which teaches local volunteers the skills and expertise needed to referee in the sport.
Boccia is likened to French boules and has fast become one of the most played sports for disabled people. Visit www.disabilitysport.org.uk for further details.
