Sheffield Steelers now have a won 5 lost 4 record

Sheffield Steelers’ search for consistency continues after an unexpected home loss to Fife last night.

Coached by Marc Lefebvre, in Doug Christiansen’s absence, (family bereavement) the side slipped up 3-2 to the Flyers at iceShffield.

Jordan Fulton and Bobby Chaumont put Fife 2-0 up at the first period break.

And while Robert Dowd at 24.17 got one back, the Scots went further ahead through Chaumont.

Jonathan Phillips raised hope with a reply at 53.57 but there was no equaliser.

Tonight Steelers travel to Coventry Blaze: full weekend wrap up in The Star tomorrow.
