Sheffield families can get into the Wimbledon spirit during the second week of the tournament in local LTA Mini Tennis sessions.

Rustlings Club, Graves Centre and Hallamshire Tennis & Squash Club are expanding their Mini sessions from July 6 to give children aged three to 10 an introduction to the sport. The idea is to encourage the whole family to pick up a racket; with prices at just £1 for a child, £2 adult, and £5 family of four. Rustlings sessions will take place from 11.30am-12.30pm, from 11am-12pm at Graves, and at Hallamshire from 9-10am over at least six-weeks.

Claire Smith, city Tennis Development Officer, said: “With smaller courts, nets and rackets and lower bouncing balls the Mini Tennis offers the perfect introduction. Mini tennis provides a great way for children to get involved and encourages families to play together in a fun and social environment.”
