RICHARD Hall can’t wait for the new speedway season to start.
Hall is back with Sheffield after spending the 2011 campaign with Leicester and Scunthorpe.
And he says a return to Owlerton and his parent club was always his top priority as soon as the season ended.
Said Hall: “I really cannot wait to get started and that’s because I’m back with Sheffield, it’s great for me.
“Everything suits me at Sheffield, it’s not too far to travel, I get on great with the fans and management and the track is one of my favourites.
“I’m really looking forward to March. I really feel I am going to be in for a good season and I feel I have a lot to offer the Sheffield team.”
Hall says he’s also relishing the prospect of riding for a revamped Owlerton side following the departures of Josh Auty and Ash Birks to Scunthorpe, Simon Lambert to Leicester and Shane Parker who had retired.
He said: “I suppose nobody knows what to expect from this team but we have a lot of good riders. I think we will be hard to beat and I’m sure the supporters will get behind us. We will make the new lads welcome and help them settle in quickly.
“We need to win our home meetings and pick up points away from home to sustain a challenge for the play-offs.”
