Sheffield boss Jack Lee is desperate to see his side complete a quick-fire double over Ipswich in Suffolk today (1.45pm).
Tigers bounced back from their first defeat of the season to edge a hard-fought victory over the Witches at Owlerton on Thursday.
They were dealt a blow as they slumped to a heavy defeat at Somerset on Friday – yet Lee is keen to see them put their Oak Tree Arena nightmare behind them.
As they continue to overcome the losses of influential duo Simon Stead and David Bellego through injury, Lee is hoping his side can pull off their second win over the strong East Anglian outfit.
He said: “It was a close meeting for us against Ipswich on Thursday, but it was a really good effort to come away with the win in the end.
“They gave us a real scare towards the end, but we managed to pull through and we were pleased to get back to winning ways after our first defeat a week earlier.
“We had a really bad night on Friday at Somerset, it wasn’t our night at all and we were never really in it.
“But we’ll be trying to just put that behind us and move on when we go to our meeting at Ipswich on Monday.
“We’ll have Jason Garrity back in the team which should make a big difference, and we are going there hoping to get something definitely.
“The team is still regrouping after the incident with Steady and David.
“This affected some of the lads a bit more than we thought, but we were more like our usual selves against Ipswich on Thursday.
“It’s going to be tough away from home, but we know we are capable of beating them and we are hoping everyone will be nice and sharp.
“We are going there in a good frame of mind and hoping we can get something.
“It’s going to be a hard meeting as they are a strong team, but if we are at our best then we can definitely cause them some problems.”
