In the run-up to their digital dinnertime experience Digesting History on February 25, Sheffield Libraries and Poet in the City are uncovering recipes that form part of the heritage of Sheffield. Help tell the story of the city through food by posting a recipe and the story and memories it holds on the libraries Facebook page or email [email protected] Some will even feature in a special recipe booklet. 2. Soprano stars in live concert
Next up on The Met Stars Live in Concert series is Russian soprano Anna Netrebko, who will perform a live concert on Saturday, February 6 at 6pm from the Spanish Riding School in Vienna. The recital will be streamed live via www.metopera.org and will be available on demand for 14 days.The programme includes songs by Russian composers and duets with mezzo-soprano Elena Maximova.
