Sheffield Arena date for heavy metal stars Slipknot

The band are touring in the wake of their return to the number one slot on the Official UK Albums Chart last year with their much-lauded sixth studio album, We Are Not Your Kind.

The album also topped music charts around the world.

Reviews for We Are Not Your Kind encompassed a broad media spectrum .

The tracks Solway Firth, Birth Of The Cruel and lead single Unsainted all came with an M Shawn Crahan-directed official music video.

Each of those trended worldwide on YouTube with Unsainted at number one worldwide for 24 hours as the band amassing more than 58 million views in two months.

Frontman Corey Taylor said: “It feels good to be coming back for an extensive tour of Europe and the UK.

“No matter how many times we come there, it always feels like we can never get enough, nor play ALL the cities we want to.

“But one thing’s for certain: the audiences are ALWAYS some of the best in the world.”

Their special guests at the Arena show will be the Polish extreme metal band Behemoth.
