Tramlines set to return with line-up to be announced next week

After a one-year hiatus due to coronavirus pandemic, Sheffield's annual music festival Tramlines will return with its line-up set to be announced next week.

In a statement released on Tuesday (April 20), Tramlines said they will be announcing over 40 artists, including all their headlining acts next Monday on April 26 at 6pm.

They said: “We'll be announcing over 40 artists, including all three Nulty's Main Stage headliners plus all T’Other stage artists, all Library headliners & so much more! Watch this space, we promise it’ll be worth the wait.

“For the time being, 2021 tickets will be taken off sale, but fear not, the FINAL limited batch of Weekend and Day tickets will be available after the lineup announcement on FRIDAY 30TH APRIL - 12PM.

With the announcement, Tramlines is set to happen in Sheffield's Hillsborough Park from July 23 to 25.

The Sheffield festival, which was to be headlined by Catfish and the Bottlemen, Ian Brown and Madness, was cancelled last year because of the pandemic.

With 2020’s activities postponed, Tramlines used the festival weekend in July to raise money by hosting a huge raffle, raising £20,000 for charities and local causes.

They collaborated with Thornbridge to create an official Tramlines ale, and sold T-shirts with exclusive designs from Sheffield artist Tom J Newell and the Tramlines team.

All of the money raised was donated to Roundabout, Disability Sheffield, S6 Foodbank, iForge and Cavendish Cancer Care.
