FOLLOW the Olympic torch live on its journey through South Yorkshire with The Star.

Our team of reporters and photographers will be with the torch every step of the way - bringing you all the news from this historic event online, using social networks and of course in the paper.

And we want YOU to join in, with your comments, photos and video as the flame passes by your street on Monday and Tuesday.

It starts in Barnsley on Monday, from 1.25pm.

Check out our dedicated web page - at thestar.co.uk/news/olympic-torch-live.

You can add your tweet to the web page, simply by adding the appropriate location hashtag to your tweet.

To comment on the flame in Sheffield use #shefftorch, in Barnsley use #barnstorch, in Rotherham #rothtorch and in Doncaster #donnytorch.

Remember you can also tweet us your words, pictures and videos at @SheffieldStar.

We will also be updating news of the torch’s journey on our Facebook account at www.facebook.com/sheffieldstar.

There you can also add your own words, photos or video.

If you want to send us a photo, as a jpeg file please, or a short video clip - no more than 15 seconds - attach these to an email, use Olympic Torch in the subject bar and send to staronline@sheffieldnewspapers.co.uk.

Of course you can still write to us about your Olympic torch experience at Olympic Torch, The Star, Star Letters, York Street, Sheffield S1 1PU.
