Food-lovers can find new restaurants to enjoy as a guide highlighting the city’s culinary gems is due to be launched.

Sheffield BID is launching a new monthly food event which helps diners enjoy exclusive experiences, deals and events.

Dine & Discover, part of the BID’s Alive After Five strategy, will showcase a different eatery from Sheffield city centre’s flourishing dining scene each month.

Inspired by Dine Sheffield, the BID’s bi-annual event celebrating dining in Sheffield, Dine & Discover will help diners discover hidden gems from the restaurant scene all year round, whether that be new openings or some of the city’s best kept secrets.

Dine & Discover will feature one city centre restaurant every month, which will play host to a one-off event to celebrate its unique food offer.

Each event will be bespoke to the restaurant and will offer diners the opportunity for visitors to try new food and drink, and get closer to the action, be that through cocktail masterclasses, food and drinks tasting, or tailored set menus. Venues will also offer an exclusive deal to Dine &Discover diners.

Diane Jarvis, Sheffield BID Manager, said: “Dine &Discover will allow the public to try a restaurant that haven’t visited before, or try something different at one of their favourite spots in the city. We hope Dine &Discover gives Sheffield’s dining scene a boost, and encourages more people to travel into the city centre for a meal out.”

The first Dine & Discover restaurant will be Craft and Dough on Campo Lane, which will be offering customers a cheeseboard, meat plate or vegan option, along with a garlic tear and share and a bottle of wine for £14 throughout July.

For its special experience for diners, Craft and Dough will be hosting a pizza making class on July 24. To access offers, find out how to book on to pizza making, and discover more about Craft and Dough, visit
