Adam Walker plays a leading role in Woodseats Musical Theatre Company’s production of Elvis Presley inspired musical All Shook Up at the Montgomery Theatre from July 12-15.

Are you a cook?

I like to think so, but I have occasionally been known to burn my girlfriend’s cooking.

Any cooking tips?

Microwave Mexican rice makes a great burrito.

What’s your favourite dish?

I really think it would have to be a homemade burrito. It’s simple yet delicious. Anybody can do them.

And a drink to go with it?

If I’m being honest - anything! But perhaps something to counter the spiciness of the burrito would be sensible.

Your favourite restaurant in the Sheffield area?

Piccolinos in the city centre. It’s great Italian food and it has an amazing outside area.

And pub?

The Woodseats Palace is always good for a great post rehearsal food and drink.

What’s the worst meal you ever had?

It was late night fish and chips down south. They don’t make fish and chips the way we like them up north.

And the best?

That would be a Longhorn sirloin steak which I had in Florida. They serve simply amazing steaks there.

Your favourite TV cook?

Gordon Ramsay - he’s outspoken, controversial and always entertaining!

What do you think of Sheffield as a place to eat out?

There are a lot of great restaurants and something for everyone, especially around the Montgomery Theatre where we’ll be performing All Shook Up in July.
