Are you a cook?

I find cooking out of necessity a bind but cooking for fun is great.

Any cooking tips?

One I never do until too late - always tidy up as you go!

What’s your favourite dish?

I absolutely love proper fish and chips, always with ‘scraps’ .

And a drink to go with it?#

Dandelion and Burdock as that’s what my grandad would always bring back from the chip shop.

Your favourite restaurant in the Sheffield area?

Kia’s Pastaria, Abbeydale Road. My poor husband has a shopping list of food intolerances and often feels like a pariah when eating out but they are so accommodating

And pub?

The Washington

What’s the worst meal you’ve ever had?

When I was on a girly holiday to Kavos in my youth. We went to an Indian and every curry was the same and covered in cheese.

And the best?

Tapas in Barcelona

Your favourite TV cook?

Anything where the programme is based around travelling and cooking things local.

What do you think of Sheffield as a place to eat out?

It’s getting better all the time; it would be great to have more places that consider food allergies/intolerances without it being a fuss.
