Are you a cook?

I try to eat healthily which means I have to cook, otherwise I’d rely on the local chippy!

Any cooking tips?

Healthy food doesn’t have to be boring – if I crave pizza, I’ll have it, but create my own version.

What’s your favourite dish?

Chicken curry – spicier the better!

And a drink to go with it?

I love cocktails, my favourite is a Cheeky Vimto, but I’ll try any!

Your favourite restaurant in the Sheffield area?

Brazilian restaurant Tropeiro on West Street. If you love eating meat and big portions, then it’s for you.

And pub?

The Cavendish – recently refurbished and the perfect student venue, particularly if you’re a sports fan.

What’s the worst meal you’ve had?

A pizzeria in Amsterdam – they had a cat wandering across the tables.

And the best?

A Greek restaurant in Nice called Mama. The traditional Greek meatballs were outstanding.

Your favourite TV cook?

I’m obsessed with the Great British Bake Off – so it would have to be Mary Berry.

What do you think of Sheffield as place to eat out?

It’s wonderfully diverse and caters for everybody. The Sheffield Food Festival goes to show what a wide range of foods the city has to offer.
