Are you a cook?

The best I can do is a decent egg fried noodle stir fry

and eggs benedict

Any cooking tips?

Does the perfect poached egg count? Throw some salt and white wine vinegar into the pan, bring to the boil then reduce to medium. Swirl the water and add the egg gently. Leave for three minutes, remove and place the egg on to tissue paper to dry out. Throw a dash of salt on and you have the perfect, oozing poached egg.

What’s your favourite dish?

Pizza. I love it as a rare treat.

And a drink to go with it?

Regular Coke, which I only really drink if I am eating out.

Your favourite restaurant in the Sheffield area?

Lawries Café in Dronfield. It is an absolute hidden gem.

And pub?

The Graduate

What’s the worst meal you’ve ever had?

My own lasagne that I made for me and my girlfriend a few years ago… I have improved since then!

And the best?

I am really into Greek food at the moment after visiting

Rhodes last year. We visited a Meze bar and tried some fried Swordfish, it was incredible.

Your favourite TV cook?

Gordon Ramsay. I love his brutal honesty, his personal story and how he appears

quite down to earth.

What do you think of Sheffield as a place to eat out?

The best places are on the outskirts, and the ones that are not quite as well known.
