STEPS-TACULAR! That’s the dazzling, fun-filled, comeback show from 1990s pop sensations Steps - who thrilled a sell-out crowd at Sheffield’s Motorpoint Arena.

The only Tragedy would be to miss it when the fab five return for an added date to end their Ultimate Tour back in the city on Friday, April 27.

It’s a epic production, with a huge interactive video-wall forming the backdrop of the stage, an amazing light show and this ultimate pop event punctuated with pyrotechnics.

Steps, complemented by funky dancers, parade glitzy co-ordinated outfits, perform all their memorable trademark dance routines and oh yes, they belt out the greatest hits which sold an astonishing 15-million records.

This slick production doesn’t miss a beat, from first single 5,6,7,8 to the show stoppers of Better The Devil You Know, Heartbeat, One For Sorrow, Chain Reaction, Dancing Queen - their comeback single produced by Sheffield’s own Eliot Kennedy - and, yes, Tragedy.

It’s a decade since the acrimonious split, featured in last year’s Steps Reunion Sky TV series.

But when Claire Richards, Faye Tozer, Lisa Scott-Lee, Ian “H” Watkins and Lee Latchford-Evans first emerge back on stage from futuristic time capsules, it’s like they’ve never been away.
