There is a buzz around Sheffield band Solanas' Sons.
And it is not hard to see why – their debut single, Rolling Around, is a grungy, riff-drenched number that begs repeat listens.
Frontman Jack Howorth says: “It’s about intimacy, but also the fact we are just passing through life and everything is transient – that’s why it’s called Rolling Around.”
To celebrate this release, the band are performing tomorrow, from 8pm, at The Washington, Fitzwilliam Street, Sheffield city centre.
Jack says: “We can’t wait – and we will be giving some free copies of the single away on the night.”
