Chart stars The Vamps will live up to the name of their new debut album Meet The Vamps when band members visit Sheffield, writes Graham Walker.

Lead guitarist James McVey and drummer Tristan Evans, both 19, will be at a signing session at the HMV store, in High Street, tomorrow (Wed, April 16) at 11am.

A free poster will be on offer with purchase of either their CD or DVD.

They will be back for a Sheffield City Hall show on September 23. Tickets on sale April 26.

The Vamps, who played at the Meadowhall Christmas lights switch-on last year, also recently supported The Wanted at Sheffield Arena.

They are celebrating a top two hit with latest single Last Night, which was released last week.

They had a number two hit with Can We Dance and made the number three slot with last single Wild Heart.

Last Night.

Tristan, in an exclusive chat with The Star, said: “We’d obviously love a number one but we want to thank fans for getting us where we are.

“We love coming to Sheffield and we’re looking forward to meeting as many fans as possible. We can’t thank them enough. They are helping us to live the dream.”
