Legendary Bowie bandmates, producer/bass player Tony Visconti and drummer Woody Woodmansey, are performing together for the first time since 1971.

At the 02 Academy Sheffield next Thursday the two Spiders from Mars members (Visconti on bass, Woody on drums) will perform David Bowie’s seminal 1970 The Man Who Sold The World and fronting the band will be Glenn Gregory of Heaven 17 and on saxophone and guitars Spandau Ballet’s Steve Norman.

The 12-strong ensemble will also include Doncaster’s John Parr, Morgan Visconti, Tony’s son and a multi-instrumentalist and composer in his own right, along with fashionista and heiress turned singer Daphne Guinness
