Michael Buble fans wanting tickets for his last-minute charity show at Sheffield Motorpoint Arena on Friday are being advised to snap them up or miss out, writes Graham Walker.

The show, a full dress rehearsal before Buble tours it, with 10-nights at London’s O2 Arena, then Ireland and the USA, will raise funds for Hallam FM’s Cash For Kids, to help needy local children, and Sheffield Children’s Hospital.

It will be the first time fans get to see his brand new show in full.

Buble, who has raised a fortune for charities, decided to go public after rehearsing the show behind closed doors at the venue this week.

So, with just three days to go, Arena bosses have been told to put it on sale and they are are gearing up for a massive demand for tickets - with all 12,000 seats likely to sell out.

And that’s with a limit of six per person.

Simon Bailey, the venue’s Marketing Manager, urged people not to leave it too late or they could end up disappointed, without a ticket. Here’s his advice if you want tickets.

He said: “This concert is a real once in a lifetime opportunity – a chance to see one of the world’s most successful artistes in a full show rehearsal ahead of a massive sell-out tour.

“We advise all customers who can to use the print at home ticket option to avoid the possible long queues for those collecting tickets from box office.

“We strongly advise all customers collecting tickets to do so before 4pm on Friday, June 28, to ensure you aren’t delayed getting on to the show.

“The box office will be open extra hours to help alleviate those coming down to the venue to collect tickets.

“It will be open for in person ticket collections from 2-9pm Wednesday, 9-9pm Thursday, and from 8am onwards on Friday.

“The box office will be open for in person ticket sales from 9am-9pm Wednesday and Thursday, June 27 and from 8am on Friday, June 28, or until all tickets are sold.

“We would also like to remind customers that tickets can also be booked and/or collected from Sheffield City Centre from the City Hall and Crucible Box Offices – please check with the venue for their opening hours.

Show timings are supplied by the promoter and are intended as a guide only, subject to change - but are doors 6pm, show 7.30pm and ends, 10.30pm.

There will be heavy traffic around the venue, so please ensure you allow additional time for your journey.
