Pop, rock and blue-eyed soul - singing sensation Paolo Nutini is to make his headline debut at Sheffield’s Motorpoint Arena and we have tickets to be won, writes Graham Walker.
The date is Saturday, October 25.
Tickets go on sale on Friday, July 4, but before then you can win one of two pairs.
It’s eight years since Nutini supported The Rolling Stones at Sheffield’s Don Valley Stadium, in August 2006.
Hits have included Last Request, New Shoes, Candy and Scream (Funk My Life Up).
Without doubt 2014 is the year of Paolo Nutini.
Acclaimed third album Caustic Love went straight in at number one, quickly reaching platinum status, and now with his biggest tour to date scheduled for the autumn, Paolo Nutini looks set to cement his place as one of the country’s leading artists.
Produced by Paolo Nutini and Dani Castelar, Caustic Love has been universally hailed by fans and critics alike. Paolo and his 10 piece band have spent much of the year touring the UK and Europe with not to-be-missed live shows.
After a few dates in the USA, Paolo returned for a Glastonbury performance on Friday.
He is also performing as the penultimate act at this year’s T in the Park on Saturday, July 12 and V Festival in August.T
The critics praised Caustic Love, calling it ‘a soulful classic’
