WIN: The War Of The Worlds musical show tickets

Spectacular: Monster hit.
Spectacular: Monster hit.

ALIENS are about to invade Sheffield with the return of Jeff Wayne’s Musical Version of The War of the Worlds - but this time it’s The New Generation.

And we have tickets to be won to the monster spectacular at the Motorpoint Arena on Sunday, December 9.

Hollywood star Liam Neeson has joined the cast - albeit as a 3D hologram - portraying the role of George Herbert, The Journalist, taking over from Richard Burton’s iconic narration on the original album and previous tours.

The 3D hologram is billed as an extraordinary performance from Neeson, who interacts with the live performers.

And there are lots of big names appearing in the flesh - including Marti Pellow as The Sung Thoughts of The Journalist, Jason Donovan as Parson Nathaniel, and Kerry Ellis as his wife, Beth.

Also confirmed is the Kaiser Chiefs’ Ricky Wilson, in the role of The Artilleryman, and Will Stapleton, front man of the fast-rising British rock band Jettblack, as The Voice of Humanity.

Guarantee your tickets. They are £42.50 and £62.50 and may be subject to a booking fee.
