HIT-maker Mika has plenty to sing and dance about as the star of Real Radio’s next intimate performance at Sheffield Winter Garden – he’s launching his new album.
The Origin Of Love is out on Monday and the following day he plays the invite-only concert.
And you could be going.
We have 10 pairs of money-can’t-buy tickets to be won thanks to our pals at Real Radio.
Chart-topper Mika, aged 29, best known for hits with Grace Kelly and Big Girl (You Are Beautiful), is expected to feature his latest single, Celebrate, from his new album.
Famed also for his amazing vocal range – said to be five octaves – the showman has been compared with artists such as Freddie Mercury, Scissor Sisters, Elton John, Prince, Robbie Williams and David Bowie.
Mika, real name Michael Holbrook Penniman Jr, was born in Beirut, the third of five children born to a Lebanese mother and an American father.
He was raised in Paris then London, wrote his first song aged seven, and went on to study at the Royal College of Music.
