Hundreds of people are expected to flock to Three Joes, a new pizzeria at Meadowhall Shopping Centre, who are giving away free pizza to the first 300 people to eat in the restaurant every Wednesday from 4pm until Valentine’s Day.

Three Joes partner and chef, Emma Blackmore, said she and her co-partners Tim Hall and Peter Bruton, have created a unique menu that is affordable for everyone as all their pizzas are between £5 and £10.

She said: “We wanted to wish everyone a happy new year, and what better way to do this than by giving away over a thousand free pizzas.

“We want everybody to give us a go and make their own minds up about our food. The price is your e-mail address and a promise to write about us on social media if you like it.”

Emma makes the sourdough for their pizza in the restaurant every day from scratch and cooks everything in their wood-fired oven.

Free Pizza Wednesdays begins on January 15 and will continue for five weeks every Wednesday evening until February 12.

Emma added : “If you are lucky enough to get a table, you can order any full-sized pizza on the menu completely free of charge. No tricks, just one free pizza per person, but no free takeaways. Anything ordered other than pizza will be chargeable.”
