Garden go on show in Sheffield event to raise charity cash
Gardens in the Totley area will be open to the public next month as part of an annual event.
Totley Open Gardens will be raising money for the community and charities.
Visitors will have the chance to visit 15 gardens ranging from interesting sloping gardens with a mixture of flowers, trees and vegetables to styles from the traditional to the more eclectic – there is also a tranquil garden beside a church and stream.
Take in the views of the Peak District as you wander between some of the gardens with refreshments such as cream teas available at a variety of gardens.
The event is due to take place on July 10 and 11 from 1-5pm. Entry programmes cost £5, and children under 14 can enter for free but must be accompanied by an adult.
A programme is valid for both days and can be purchased in advance from The Ironing Parlour on Baslow Road or Totley Library. They will be on sale outside The Ironing Parlour during the event.
Over the past 14 years, Totley Open Gardens has raised more than £33,000 for local charities and community organisations.
The event will be subject to ongoing Covid restrictions.
