Ouch! Sheffield trio aim to play 100 holes of golf at city club to raise cash for charity
It’s not a challenge for the faint hearted. Luke Hope-Gill, Ethan Smith and Gareth Davies will play 100 holes of golf at Abbeydale Golf Club to boost the Children’s Hospital Charity.
They will set off at 3.30am and finish at 8pm on June 21, which is the summer solstice, or longest day of the year, this year.
Luke, who is Abbeydale junior caption this year, came up with the idea as thanks for the charity’s help when his older brother Timothy died.
