The Sheffield Telegraph has teamed up with swim!, which is set to open at Archer Road in Millhouses on April 26th as the national lockdown eases, to offer four readers the chance to win a month’s worth of swimming lessons for their child.

Many children have had to miss out on learning to swim this past year due to the national Covid-19 restrictions and this could be their first chance to learn a vital life skill.

Olympic medallist, BBC Broadcaster and Chair of Swim Safe for the RNLI, Steve Parry, is behind the creation of swim! - the best learn to swim experience in the country.

The family friendly and start-of-the-art centre includes small class sizes, secure family friendly facilities and innovative lessons making it the ideal environment for children between the ages of 0 and 11 to learn and enjoy swimming.

Steve said: “It’s time to say goodbye to cold and wet changing rooms and too many children to a class.

"I’m excited that we have created swim! for the sole purpose of getting babies confident in the water and teaching kids to swim in a place they will love.”

The prizes available in this competition include two packages of one month’s free baby lessons, for children aged up to three, and two packages of one month free core lessons, for children aged 3 to 11.

There are four prizes in total.

To enter, visit and fill in the form and winners will be picked and contacted on Monday 3rd May

Bookings for a free intro session and classes are also being taken now.

Visit for ages 0-3 baby classes and for ages 3-11 child classes.

T&Cs: Winners will be chosen at random by the swim! team and entry information will be held by them. Four prizes are available and they cannot be exchanged for other prizes or cash.

Swimming lessons, including these prizes, will go ahead dependent on the Government’s Covid-19 response and restrictions at that time.
