MOVE over Ali G, Borat and Bruno... here comes Sacha Baron Cohen’s latest character, The Dictator.
Expect more irreverent comedy from the master of bad taste in this, his latest big screen outing, which sees Cohen as General Aladeen - a rich, cruel and pitiless dictator of Wadiya.
He’s determined to make sure that democracy never comes to the country he’s so lovingly oppressed.
Also starring Ben Kingsley and Megan Fox, The Dictator, certificate 15, goes on general release from Wednesday, May 16.
But lucky Star readers will get to see it first - and free - almost a week early.
Cineworld Sheffield has given The Star 20 tickets to the regional premiere - featuring a live transmission from the red carpet in London - on May 10. Doors 6.15pm, screening 7pm.
The Dictator is the story of General Aladeen’s trip to the US, where he is kidnapped and stripped of his signature facial hair.
Preview tickets are on sale at the box office or online, with no booking fees and with discount if signing up to the MyCineworld feature. See www.cineworld.co.uk.
