BALLET fans have plenty to jump up and down about this Christmas with the first ever 3D version of The Nutcracker showing at cinemas nationwide - including Cineworld Sheffield.
This Mariinsky Theatre production - a festive favourite - has also just been released by Warner Classics on DVD and Blu-ray, in 2D.
And today we are celebrating with some great prizes.
Two winners will each win a pair of tickets to see The Nutcracker in 3D (cert U) at Cineworld Sheffield, on December 30.
Our two runners-up each get a 2D copy of the release on Blu-ray.
Filmed at the historic Mariinsky Theatre in St. Petersburg, this is a sumptuously traditional production, brought to life on the big screen in stunning 3D.
With Tchaikovsky’s eternally popular score, the grand staging and exquisite costumes, it’s ideal entertainment for the family this Christmas.
The performance features Mariinsky Theatre’s rising stars - Alina Somova, as Clara and Vladimir Shklyarov as the Prince Nutcracker.
The Star has teamed up with Warner Classics and More2Screen, the UK’s leading distributor to cinemas of opera, ballet, concerts, theatre and special events, to provide these great prizes.
