Former BBC Breakfast Presenter, Dan Walker, attempted the viral outdoor egg cooking challenge on his car bonnet as temperatures across the country skyrocketed yesterday.

Dan, who now presents Channel 5 news, uploaded a video of his egg-frying attempt to his Facebook page, where he cracked the egg onto his car.

The attempt didn’t go as successfully as he may have hoped as the egg slipped off the hot surface and onto the floor.

In the comments, Dan shared an image of a slightly more successful third attempt.
