Armed police were deployed to a street in a Sheffield suburb to help colleagues from another force search for a wanted man.
A number of specialist armed officers were seen in Staveley Road, Sharrow, on Monday.
Explaining the presence of the officers, South Yorkshire Police said: “Officers attended an address in Staveley Road, Sheffield, to assist with enquiries that were underway to locate a man believed to be wanted by another force.
“Officers searched the area but no arrests were made.”
