A cannabis factory was discovered by police officers following up reports of a burglary at a house in Sheffield.

The alarm was raised shortly after midnight on Sunday, May 16 when reports were received of a burglary in progress on St Michael’s Crescent, in Ecclesfield.

It was reported that three people had gained access to the house by smashing a panel in the front door.

When officers arrived they discovered a cannabis factory and seized 175 fully grown plants.
