Police officers armed with a chainsaw and battering rams raided homes on a Sheffield estate.

They forced entry into two homes in the Westfield area of the city yesterday after being granted search warrants.

A woman and three men were arrested and all four were held for questioning before being released under investigation.

South Yorkshire Police has not yet provided details of what officers were searching for in the early morning raids.
