Detectives are continuing to investigate the murder of a Sheffield man seven months to the day that he was stabbed.

Isaiah Usen-Satchell, aged 18, was knifed in an attack in the Norfolk Park area of Sheffield on New Year’s Day.

The university student, who studied in Leeds, had been on a night out on New Year’s Eve and had returned home safely but then ventured out again and became embroiled in a fight with a group of men on St Aiden’s Road at around 4.20am on New Year’s Day.

He was taken to hospital but a slash wound to his wrist proved fatal and a murder probe was launched.

Four Rotherham men, aged 18 – 22, were arrested on suspicion of murder and remain on police bail.

A fifth man, aged 27 and also from Rotherham, was also arrested on suspicion of murder and released without charge.

Nobody has yet been charged over the murder.
