A pensioner involved in a collision with a car has died from her injuries.

Judith Beckingham, aged 77, was struck by a black Vauxhall Astra in Selborne Road, Crosspool, on Thursday, June 2.

She was taken to hospital in a critical condition and died in hospital on Monday, June 6, with South Yorkshire Police just releasing details of her death today.

The collision occurred as the Astra was turning right from Sandygate Road into Selborne Road.

Witnesses should call South Yorkshire Police on 101.
