A missing Doncaster man who sparked a police search has been found safe and well after an appeal.
South Yorkshire Police announced a search missing 83-year-old Doncaster man Alan Varley after he went missing from near to his home on York Street, Rossington at around 2pm.
A force spokesman revealed Mr Varley had been found on the SYP Facebook page and wrote: “Alan Varley who was reported missing earlier today has been found safe and well. Thank you to everyone who shared our appeal.”
