Swinton take over
SHEFFIELD law firm, Keeble Hawson, has acted for Swinton Insurance during its acquisition of Leeds-based independent, Rockford Insurance Brokers.
Keeble Hawson partner, Rosemary Downs, who led the legal team said: “This deal, which came to fruition very swiftly, is another example of Swinton’s continued programme of growth through acquisition which has helped to fuel its success in the competitive insurance sector.”
The deal will enable Swinton to further expand the commercial side of its business by using Rockford’s expertise in commercial business risks, motor trade insurance and niche areas including professional indemnity, the medical profession and the education sector.
