The figures, from Public Health England, show data collected from November 1-7 and are available to view in an interactive map.
This week Sheffield’s director for public health, Greg Fell, said the number of new Covid-19 cases was falling- but not low enough.
Mr Fell said: “The numbers of new cases per week are settling and actually going down at the moment.
"However, they are settling at a much higher rate than we saw in the summer, and far too high for comfort.
“There has been a significant increase in the number of deaths, sadly, and there will be more to come – there is nothing we can do about that now – but, again, that will slow.”
