Aldi store in Sheffield introduces clever new rule to help shoppers keep their distance

Posting on Facebook yesterday, Paul Wild said: “Can I ask anyone planning to come to the Aldi store at Handsworth tommorow shopping, please if possible come on your own.
“There is now a one trolley, one person rule. I don't enjoy having to tell a couple or a family that only one person is allowed in the store and it would make my 12-hour shift so much easier.”

Hide AdPeople have been told to stay in their homes and only travel if essential, to help prevent the spread of coronavirus.
They are still allowed out to buy food and other household essentials, and to take their one daily permitted bit of exercise, but they must still adhere to social distancing and keep at least two metres away from other people.
