Lady Neill set herself the task of coming up with some fun ways to take part in the week-long 2.6 challenge to support charities struggling with fundraising during the crisis.

That included running 2.6km in 26 minutes, making 26 sultana scones to share with her step mother, ringing 26 family and friends in 2.6 days - and finally toasting her friends and colleagues at the Whirlow hospice with 2.6 glasses of fizz.

And by the time she had completed her week of activity she had raised a total of £1,402.
