Sheffield Britain's Got Talent star hails health hero mum

The teenage singer, who came second on the popular ITV talent show in 2017, took to Twitter last week to nominate mum Terri for the accolade.

NHS staff have been lauded for their work during the coronavirus crisis so far, with the entire country stopping every Thursday evening at 8pm to applaud them.

He said: “So proud of my mum Terri and all her colleagues on her ward working the frontline join me in thanking each and every one of them. Thank you.”

He also shared two pictures of Terri, including one with her colleagues on the Firth Ward at Northern General Hospital.
